A lash lift is a process that involves dramatically enhancing your natural lashes by ‘perming’ them into a curl that lasts up to 6 weeks. To get the best results out of your lash lift, it’s recommended to pair a lash tint with your appointment at my studio on the Sunshine Coast.
A lash tint stains your lashes, making them darker for up to 4 weeks - when you incorporate this into your lash lift Birtinya appointment you also receive a relaxing hand massage while the tint works its magic.

Lash Extensions in Birtinya
Full Classic Eyelash Extensions is when a single extension is applied to every lash. This achieves a natural mascara look and can be shaped into glamour eye, cat eye, natural eye or doll eye looks. Approximately 115 Lashes applied to each eye.

Wet Look Eyelash Extensions is when a volume lash is used, but instead of this lash being fanned out to create the fluffy traditional volume lash look, they are spiked which create as the name says a wet look or a fuller look to a classic lash extension.
Hybrid Eyelash Extensions use a combination of lashes, the most common hybrid I do is a standard single lash on every second lash and a volume lash on every other lash, creating lush, full eyelashes.
Volume or Mega Volume Eyelash Extensions are when 2 to 8 very thin extension hairs are applied to 1 of your lashes to create a full, fluffy look. These lashes are perfect if you don't have many of your own lashes and want to create more thickness and volume.

In the first 24 hours avoid wetting your lashes, including in saunas and steam rooms to allow the glue to fully cure.

Be gentle with your new lashes! Avoid rubbing your eyes, pulling or playing with your lashes.

Avoid getting them caught on clothes and towels. When drying your eyes apply gentle pressure to your eyes, do not rub them.

You can use a hair dryer if you want to dry them quickly however you’re best to give them a light brush and allow your eyelash extensions to dry naturally.

Do not perm or use an eyelash curler on the lash extensions. They are synthetic and will melt and kink.
Eyelash Extensions Aftercare Tips

Avoid wearing mascara as this will lessen the life of your extensions. Even non-waterproof is not recommended as they can contain oils that will break down the glue.

Do not use eye make-up remover that contains any type of oil products, as oil will break down the glue.

It is very important to keep your eye area clean to prevent an eye infection, whether wearing eyelash extensions or not. Cleanse daily if you wear makeup, otherwise cleanse every other day.

If you favour sleeping on one side you may notice those eyelash extensions may not last as well as the other side. Try and sleep on your back to avoid this.

The less you touch your lash extensions, the longer they will last!
